The St John at Hackney Choir serves our weekly traditional 10AM Communion service at Hackney Church, singing hymns, psalms, masses and a motet each Sunday as part of the worship. Its roots extend back centuries, and the modern choir has around 20 members, who are supported by our team of choral scholars.
As well as its key role each Sunday, the choir sings for other services throughout the year, which have in the past included our Carols by Candlelight, Requiem Mass for All Souls, Taize Vigils and Choral Evensong.
The choir is open to all, with no audition requirements. Click below to join in!
