Since 2023, SAINT, KXC and IMPRINT have been gathering together for an evening of unity, prayer and worship: the Joint Prayer Gathering. Different churches, one room, lifting high the name of Jesus and crying out for revival in our city.
Hosted by Al Gordon, Pete Hughes and Wole Agbaje, Joint Prayer Gathering Unpacked is a free afternoon for pastors, church staff and teams who’ve seen what God through the Joint Prayer Gathering and our asking, “Could this happen in our context?”
We’ll open up the vision, the story and the nuts and bolts of how a JPG comes together, from building trust and unity between churches, to shaping an evening of worship and prayer that people want to come back to, to the practical details of planning, hosting and leading, from prayer to practicalities. There’ll be space to ask questions, learn from those who’ve been doing it, and pray together for your own neighbourhood.
Whether you’re planning to start something soon or just sensing a stirring to pray with other churches in your area, you’re welcome.
Who it’s for: church leaders, pastors, staff and prayer or worship teams interested in running a Joint Prayer Gathering in their own context.
What we’ll cover:
- The vision: why united prayer matters, and what we’ve seen God do
- The partnership: how churches come together across difference and stay together
- The gathering: shaping the flow of worship, prayer and drop-in moments across an evening
- The practicalities: planning, hosting, teams and the details that make it work
- Your context: Q&A and time to pray for what’s next where you are
When: Monday 16 November, 2–5pm
Where: Hackney Church House, E8 1FX
Cost: Free
Then stay for the real thing
